RED-E-BINS DO’S AND DON’TS

Accepted and Prohibited Items

There are strict regulations on what can be disposed of safely and what RED-E-BINS is not authorized to process.  Customer will be charge extra for none compliance.

Review the lists below:

What you CAN Dispose of in a RED-E-BIN

Mixed Trash

  • Furniture
  • Clothes
  • Toys
  • Packaging
  • Other general household items
  • Mattresses (for a fee)
  • Box springs (for a fee)
  • Plastic

Construction and Demolition

  • Siding
  • Cabinetry
  • Lumber
  • Drywall
  • Windows
  • Carpet
  • Flooring
  • Broken down furniture
  • Shingles (must ONLY be disposed of in our 5YD RED-E-BIN)
  • Concrete, asphalt, brick (must ONLY be disposed of in our 5YD RED-E-BIN, and only to the halfway point to meet weight limitations)

 

 

 

What you CANNOT Dispose of in a RED-E-BIN

  • Any hazardous waste: Check items for a poison, chemical or bio-hazard symbol on its label
  • Computers, televisions, and monitors
  • Printers & fax machines
  • PCB Ballasts
  • Fluorescent bulbs
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Batteries
  • Car parts
  • Solvents
  • Thinners
  • Oil filters
  • Appliances
  • Propane tanks
  • Microwaves
  • Railroad ties
  • Lawnmowers, snow blowers, and the alike
  • Treadmills, elliptical machines, and the alike
  • Ovens
  • Soil
  • Dirt
  • Yard waste
  • Sand
  • Air conditioning units
  • Paint
  • Oils
  • Calks
  • Food waste
  • More than 3 tons (6,000lbs) of weight
